You can see both sense of humor and affection for nature in nearly all of Melinda Lawrence's work. She brings her visions to life in acrylic inks, watercolors and a huge collection of pens and markers. Melinda refers to her style as "cartoony realism" usually mixing natural shapes and vivid colors with varying outlines. When she isn't drawing, she can be found on hiking trails with her camera taking hundreds of reference photos for her art.
